I like the hyper blue too but it’s not even comparable to the pure, pearlescent, balance of bright but deep perfection that is the WR Blue.

You only like it because of its novelty. If this blue was the original and WR blue came out as a special edition, the same people would say they prefer the WRB.

This blue doesn’t have any of the depth or the pearly pop of the real Subaru blue.

Have you actually seen this blue in person before? I really like WRB, but the HyperBlue looks rather sharp in person. WRB is actually a bit shiny for my taste and although it’s cool, I can’t really see myself in it. Also, yes, I do have a thing for Subarus in limited colors

I’ve seen it at the dealer. It is an okay blue. But everyone has that kind of blue. It just looks like stage 1 gloss. It looks like Volvo’s blue, Fiat 500's blue, maybe even BMW has a blue close to that.

WRB is a pearl paint, much more high end and expensive. No one else had it on their cars. There were glossy blues, like the Ford ST, or the metallic blues of the BMW but no WRB.
